. High speed FPGA design using VHDL (Xilinx or Altera)
. VHDL simulation (Modelsim)
. VHDL synthesis for FPGA (Mentor, Synplicity, XST or Quartus)
. Hardware board designs
. Embedded processors (NIOS/NIOS II, Microblaze or Power PC)
Candidates will have a working knowledge of Matlab, signal processing algorithms, architectures & physical layer communications.
