LAMP Infrastructure Developer -Amsterdam
My clients internal automated map building/releasing infrastructure runs on a LAMP system (Linux/Apache/MySQL/Perl). It is a diverse system that supports developers, testers, product management, source providers, etc and has been completely developed in-house. It runs on multiple 64-bit Linux servers and they are constantly looking for ways to improve this system. Your job would be to join the team and design new additions to this system to improve the scalability, performance and usefulness of this system. Profile of the suitable candidate
- LAMP experience (Linux/Apache/Mysql/Perl) (3 or more years of relevant commercial and/or academic experience);
- Linux admin experience (Application/Configuration management across multiple servers, developer support);
- Good knowledge of HTML/User interfaces;
- Good verbal and written communication skills (in English);
- Experience with software development processes/working in teams;
- Design/code quality orientation;
- Generalist, adaptive, pro-active.
